Eleventh entry.

First of all; I did not, nor was I planning on ever, abandoning and/or leaving deviantART. If I gave you that impression, my apologies.

It's been a while since my last journal, almost two months, but I simply couldn't find the courage to post anything about my oh-so-boring life. Two whole months without anything really interesting happening in my life. Don't get me wrong, there have been plenty of parties, get-together's and fun times with friends, but most notable were those of the last week and a half. And thus, a new journal.

From the 19th till the 22nd of August, Belgium host the all-round known festival Pukkelpop and, as usual, I was one of the attending party animals as I've been for the last 4 years.
Four days of music, featuring Kraftwerk, The Offspring, Ellen Allien, Placebo, N.E.R.D, 50 Cent, Arctic Monkeys and so on. At the bottom of the journal I'll post a list of bands/artists I saw.

For people who haven't been to festivals yet, let me sketch a normal day. Waking up in a tent to the sound of drunken/stoned 'grown-ups', eating mass amounts of junk food, getting diseases off of the public showers/toilets, ..
LUCKILY, I have a friend living in walking distance, so none of these inconveniences for me! A nice warm bed and plenty of healthy food, all thanks to ~Metatron87's wonderful mum!

I came back home on a Sunday, which happened to the day the whole family got together to celibate my mother's 60th birthday. [Yes, worst timing ever..]
That evening I had to pack for a small 4 day holiday to Ameland (a peninsula of the Netherlands during low tide, an island during high tide). My parents had invited one of my best friends, Rosa, to join us and after a long trip, with two dogs and four adults in one car..., we arrived. Took a few pictures, so you'll see them soon.
It was a nice stay, loved the sauna and whirlpool, but I'm more of a city person; the quiet got to me very quickly and I was glad that the four days flew by.

In summary, I had a nice summer holiday. A lot of free time, which I love. Went to the best festivals in Europe, ...
School starts again on the 21st of September, so I can still enjoy a few weeks. Can't wait for autumn to begin, I have a feeling it'll have a lot of new surprises.
